Rackable Plastic Pallets can be an oxymoron. Plastic pallets have engineered characteristics that make it appear to be a more practical and useful tool in the shipping arena. BUT the characteristics do not lend itself for practicality, safety and long term stability. Most plastic pallets are not repairable or reusable. Plastic materials often suffer from long-term creep. Creep is the inability of a material to reach equilibrium under load. Since the 1970's many plastic pallet manufacturers have come and gone because of a good idea but a poor product.
